When the firehouse oven turns on, you know something good is coming.
This time, the Benbrook Fire crew kept it simple and sweet with a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cobbler that had everyone going back for seconds.
This easy-bake dessert starts with a layer of apple pie filling, followed by crushed Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. A dry white cake mix gets sprinkled over the top, finished with pats of butter and a dash of cinnamon. After 45 minutes at 350 degrees, you’ve got a golden, bubbling cobbler that’s part breakfast cereal, part comfort food, and all delicious.
No fuss. Big flavor. Definitely worth firing up the oven for.
