Benbrook drivers, note that if you’re heading eastbound on 820 West this afternoon, you’ll want to steer clear of the bridge just past Las Vegas Trail.

Around 2 p.m., an oil spill spread across the middle lane, triggering a major cleanup operation.

Crews are working on-site to clear the slick mess and redirect traffic to safer alternate routes. While no injuries or fatalities have been reported so far, delays are expected for the foreseeable future.
