The Benbrook Bobcats and Lady Bobcats are off to a strong start on the golf course, with top-three finishes, individual honors, and a memorable first for one young golfer.
At last week’s Weatherford Invitational, the Bobcats boys team finished third overall, while Lady Bobcat golfer Campbell Glanzer earned second place individually.
The momentum continued over the weekend at the Burleson Centennial Cen10 Two Step tournament, where the Lady Bobcats placed third, and Glanzer claimed her second consecutive runner-up finish.
But perhaps the biggest moment belonged to sophomore Madison Willson, who recorded her first career hole-in-one, adding an unforgettable highlight to the team’s opening tournaments.
With two tournaments completed and several early accomplishments to celebrate, Benbrook golf has plenty to build on this fall.
