A police pursuit involving a reported kidnapping suspect ended with two people dead Thursday morning, October 29, in Johnson County.
According to DFW Scanner, Burleson police were pursuing the suspect shortly after 8 a.m. along FM 1902 near County Road 1015, with speeds reaching approximately 60 mph.
The pursuit continued northbound on Highway 377, where officers successfully deployed spike strips. The suspect’s vehicle then entered Bourland Field Airport property before stopping near Flagship Court.
Officers initiated a felony traffic stop and discovered two people unresponsive inside the vehicle. Emergency medical services were requested, but both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not released the identities of those involved or confirmed the circumstances surrounding their deaths.
