A garage sale at 1316 Timbercreek Drive in Benbrook has a story behind it: apparently, putting everything back into storage isn’t an option.

The sale includes plenty of sewing and costume-making finds, including fabric, buttons, and other materials. According to the neighbor spreading the word, the family once made costumes for Casa Mañana, so a few unusual treasures may be mixed in with the usual garage sale finds.

Among them is a fancy gold robe that still needs a new home.

Because, as the neighbor joked, if it doesn’t sell, her husband may start wearing it while mowing the lawn.
