Benbrook Council Candidates Host Community Meet-and-Greet.

Benbrook voters will have a chance to meet two City Council candidates face to face before heading to the polls.

Greg Clem, candidate for Place 4, and Whitney Hughes, candidate for Place 6, will host a community meet and greet Saturday, Sept. 19, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at the Benbrook Public Library.

The event will be held in the Kathy Ledford Meeting Room at 1065 Mercedes St.

According to the event announcement, Clem and Hughes will introduce themselves, discuss what they stand for, and share their goals for Benbrook. Residents will also have an opportunity to ask questions and talk with the candidates about issues important to the community.

For voters still getting to know the people seeking seats on the Benbrook City Council, the afternoon offers an opportunity to hear directly from two of the candidates and bring their own questions into the conversation.
