Fort Worth ISD Students to Receive Free Breakfast and Lunch This School Year.

Families with students attending Fort Worth ISD, including those at Benbrook schools, won’t need to worry about meal applications this school year.

The district announced that all enrolled Fort Worth ISD students will receive free breakfast and lunch throughout the 2026-2027 school year, with no application required.

Meals will include whole grain-rich foods, low-fat or fat-free milk, 100% fruit and vegetable juices, plus a variety of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables.

This initiative helps ensure every student has access to nutritious meals, making it one less thing for families to plan as the new school year approaches.
