A cancer diagnosis changed Leslie Cowdrey’s life. Now, she’s turning that experience into hope for others.
After being diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2024, Leslie faced months of treatments, uncertainty, and emotional highs and lows.
Today, she is cancer free and says the journey reminded her of the power of faith, the importance of early detection, and the support of family, friends, medical professionals, and the community that stood beside her.
This fall, Leslie is once again taking part in the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk to help fund breast cancer research, patient support, education, and life changing programs for those currently facing the disease.
The walk will be held Saturday, October 3, at The Shops at Clearfork. Those who would like to support Leslie’s team, Leslie’s Breasties 4 Ever, or register for the event can learn more at https://komen.org/ftwwalk.
