Benbrook Elementary PTA Thanks Volunteers as School Year Comes to a Close.

As another school year comes to an end, the Benbrook Elementary School PTA is taking a moment to recognize the volunteers who helped make the 2025-26 year a success.

In a message to the school community, PTA President Whitney Welch thanked board members for their service to students, teachers, and families throughout the year.

Three longtime volunteers were recognized as they step away from their PTA roles.

Laura Mackey was honored for years of service, including time as PTA president and hospitality chair, where she helped ensure teachers felt appreciated and supported.

Kinah Massey was recognized for her leadership, advocacy, and can-do attitude. Among her many contributions, she launched and led a fundraising effort for the fifth-grade trip, bringing the project to life in just one week.

Crystal Hines was thanked for her work as Room Parent Chair, helping coordinate communication and support for classroom volunteers throughout the school year.

“Thank you, ladies, for helping make BES such a special place,” Welch shared. “Your impact will be felt for years to come.”

Behind every successful school year are volunteers who quietly give their time, energy, and heart. For Benbrook Elementary, this year’s PTA leaders helped leave a lasting mark on the campus and the families it serves.
