Benbrook’s newest dining additions are already drawing plenty of attention, and according to longtime Fort Worth food writer Bud Kennedy, the best time to visit may not be dinner at all.
In a recent review, Kennedy highlighted both Jakes Burgers and Tacos & Avocados, located side by side at 9300 Benbrook Boulevard, noting that weekend brunch may be the standout experience at both restaurants.
While the two eateries have built a strong following for burgers, fajitas, drinks, and family-friendly dining, Kennedy suggests setting the alarm a little earlier and stopping by on a Saturday or Sunday morning instead. His recommendation is simple: beat the crowds and enjoy what he considers some of the restaurants’ strongest menu offerings during brunch hours.
The restaurants have quickly become popular additions to Benbrook’s growing dining scene, regularly drawing full houses and giving local residents another reason to stay close to home when deciding where to eat.
