Another important week of voting is about to begin in Benbrook, and local residents are encouraged to plan to cast their ballots in the upcoming Republican and Democratic primary runoff elections.
Early voting runs Monday, May 18, through Friday, May 22, at the Benbrook Community Center, located at 228 San Angelo Ave. Polls will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Election Day is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, with voting also available from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Community leaders continue encouraging residents not to overlook runoff elections, noting that these races often help decide key local and state leadership positions while drawing lower turnout than general elections.
For many voters, it is also a reminder that civic engagement goes beyond November elections and that every opportunity to vote helps shape the community’s future.
More information about polling locations, voter eligibility, and sample ballots can be found on the Tarrant County Elections website.
