A new season is already taking shape at Benbrook Middle-High School as the Emerald Line officially introduced its 2026-27 team roster and leadership group.
Leading this year’s line as captain is Abigail Estes, joined by senior lieutenant Laila Myles. Junior lieutenant roles will be held by Amelia Jenkins and Trinity Tiner, while Kinley Brown and Malia Lorick will serve as social officers.
The newly announced line members also include Abigail Blair, Bayli Crawford, Molly Helm, Madison Jones, Ava Martinez, Mia Veletic, Anabelle Watson, and Marley Whorton.
For many students, the drill team represents far more than performances on the sidelines. It becomes a year filled with practices, teamwork, leadership growth, school spirit, and friendships that often last long after graduation.
As preparations begin for the upcoming school year, excitement is already building around what this next Emerald Line season will bring to Benbrook.
