Cresson Firefighters Contain Grass Fire with Benbrook’s Help.

A quick response from the Cresson Volunteer Fire Department kept a grass fire from spreading to a nearby building yesterday afternoon.

Thanks to teamwork and assistance from the Benbrook Fire Department, crews were able to contain the blaze before it caused further damage.

Both departments continue to stress the importance of fire safety, especially during dry conditions.
