Benbrook Public Library Hiring for Youth Summer Page Position.

For students or young job seekers looking for summer work with purpose, Benbrook Public Library has an opening worth checking out.

The library is currently hiring for a temporary part-time Youth Summer Page position, a role designed to support youth librarians during one of the busiest seasons of the year.

Library leaders say they are looking for someone energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to help people. The position includes assisting with youth programs, preparing materials for summer reading events, setting up and decorating for programming, organizing event supplies, and working closely with children and families.

The job also includes helping arrange seating for Thursday performer events and supporting the fast-paced flow of the library’s summer schedule.

The position offers 20 hours per week, a minimum of 4 days per week, and runs from May 26 through July 31. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods, as well as lift up to 15 to 25 pounds.

For the right person, this could be more than just a summer job. It could be the start of something bigger.

Benbrook Public Library, located at 1065 Mercedes St., remains one of the city’s most active community spaces, especially during the summer months when youth programming expands.

Those interested can apply through the library’s employment page at benbrooklibrary.org/about-us/employment or submit applications directly to miranda@benbrooklibrary.org.
