Young learners in Benbrook will soon have a chance to experience science up close.
The Benbrook Public Library is partnering with the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History to host a Discovery Lab on Monday, March 16, from 2 to 3 p.m. The program is designed for children ages 6 to 10 and focuses on learning about electric energy in a hands-on, classroom-style setting.
The session will be led by museum educators and aims to introduce kids to the basics of how electricity works through engaging demonstrations and guided learning. Programs like this give young students an opportunity to explore science in a way that feels both approachable and fun.
