Benbrook residents may hear loud noises this afternoon coming from NAS JRB Fort Worth.
Base officials shared that Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams will conduct scheduled training exercises between 1:00 and 3:00 pm. These exercises are routine and expected to produce loud sounds that may be heard in surrounding areas.
There is no cause for concern, and the activity is limited to the base. Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly, especially if they have pets or are sensitive to noise during that window.
It is another reminder that training activities at NAS JRB Fort Worth are a regular part of operations and occasionally extend beyond the base perimeter.
