Help Benbrook Honor Every Veteran Laid to Rest.

As veteran holidays approach, local members of VFW Benbrook Memorial Post 10429 are working to make sure no veteran in Benbrook Cemetery is overlooked.

Their goal is simple and meaningful: every veteran deserves to be recognized with a flag or wreath in remembrance of their service.

Community members are being asked to help identify veterans buried at Benbrook Cemetery who do not currently have a flag or wreath at their gravesite. If you have a family member or friend resting there, the VFW wants to hear from you so they can ensure proper recognition.

When reaching out, please include the veteran’s full name, branch of service (if known), war or era (if known), and the plot location or a photo of the headstone (if possible). Even partial information can help.

Those with details to share can contact the VFW directly at benbrook@vfw10429.org. Please also pass this along to friends and neighbors who may have loved ones buried at Benbrook Cemetery.

A small act of sharing can help ensure every veteran is remembered, honored, and never forgotten.
