Western Hills Graduate Earns Commission Through U.S. Air Force Academy.

Former Western Hills tennis standout Roy Castellanos has reached an impressive milestone, graduating from the United States Air Force Academy on May 28 and earning his commission as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force.

His journey is far from over. Castellanos will next attend Texas A&M University, where he will pursue a master’s degree in intelligence before beginning his Air Force career.

Graduating from the Air Force Academy requires years of academic excellence, leadership training, and military preparation, making the achievement one of the nation’s highest honors for aspiring officers.

For the Western Hills community, Castellanos’ accomplishment is a proud reminder of the impact Cougar graduates can make far beyond the classroom and athletic fields.

Congratulations to Second Lieutenant Roy Castellanos on this remarkable achievement and his commitment to serving the nation.
