A small act of kindness is making a big difference for shelter animals in Benbrook.
Lewis and the team at the Benbrook Walmart recently stepped in with a donation of blankets to support the ongoing animal blanket drive led by Benbrook Middle High School Student Council.
The drive helps local shelters keep animals warm and cared for as temperatures drop. Students have been collecting blankets throughout the season, and Walmart’s support gives the effort a meaningful boost.
Residents who want to pitch in can still donate. To connect with the Student Council and learn how to help, visit their page at https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61580032732709.
It is a simple way for the community to come together and make life a little better for the pets waiting for their forever homes.
