Afternoon Crash Slows Traffic Near Westpark Elementary.

Benbrook saw yet another traffic incident today, adding to a busy week along US 377 and RM 2871.

At about 1:45 p.m., a collision was reported at the intersection of Jerry Dunn Parkway and RM 2871, near Restore Church and Westpark Elementary.

Police are en route, and early indications suggest there are no fatalities and that everyone involved appears to be okay. With school dismissal underway and afternoon traffic picking up, drivers should expect delays in the area and consider alternate routes when possible.
