Benbrook Gives Big for 4 PAWS.

Benbrook showed just how much heart it has for animals during North Texas Giving Day.

Local rescue organization 4 PAWS Inc. raised $5,220 through 37 online donations from 36 donors, giving the nonprofit a welcome boost in its work rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding homes for animals in need.

For 4 PAWS, the dollars represent something much more tangible than a fundraising total. Donations help cover veterinary care and the work needed to get animals healthy, adoption-ready, and one step closer to a family of their own.

The organization thanked everyone who gave, shared its fundraiser, or simply helped spread the word. Gifts ranged from smaller donations to $1,000 contributions, each adding to the final total.

For a small Benbrook organization, the response also reminded everyone what can happen when neighbors rally around a local cause.

And somewhere behind that $5,220 are a few wagging tails that now have a better shot at their next chapter.
