Cougar Football Scores Big in the Classroom.

Western Hills High School is celebrating more than touchdowns this season. The Cougar football team has earned high marks off the field, with a 97 percent passing rate for the second six weeks of 2025.

The A Honor Roll features standout student-athletes Tyler Johnston, Josh Oliver, De’Anthony Monroe, Mohammed Soumahoro, Josiah Pena, Malcolm Jussab, and Dante Mendoza. The A/B Honor Roll includes Mauricio Martinez, Justin Hurst, Alex Richmond, Grayson Ehirim, Daviahn Ervin, D’Shawn Elder, Gabriel Zuniga, and Quendell McGowan.

Their hard work in the classroom reflects the same focus and discipline they bring to the field. Western Hills continues to show that success is built on effort, teamwork, and commitment—on and off the turf.
