Today marks twenty-four years since the morning our nation was forever changed. September 11, 2001, is etched into our collective memory, not only for the loss and heartbreak but also for the resilience and unity that followed.
In Benbrook, as in towns across America, the images and emotions of that day still stir something deep within us. We remember the lives cut short, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the families who continue to carry the weight of absence. We also remember how strangers became neighbors, and how communities leaned on each other with strength and compassion.
As we pause to reflect, may we never forget that even in the face of tragedy, hope can rise. May we honor the legacy of those we lost by living with courage, kindness, and a commitment to one another.
Benbrook Life stands with our community today in remembrance and gratitude. Let us continue to tell the stories, teach the next generation, and hold tightly to the lesson that unity is stronger than fear.
