Benbrook, take a bow—Western Hills High School is making waves again.
On April 24, four of our very own Cougars took center stage at the 4th Annual Mayor’s Celebration for Workforce-Ready Graduates, held at Casa Mañana in Fort Worth.
The event spotlighted students across the district who’ve gone beyond the cap and gown, earning real-world certifications that set them up for success after high school. Each school nominated standout seniors from their Career and Technology pathways, and Western Hills brought the heat.
Representing business, technology, arts, and education, Itzel Lopez, Diego Flores Martinez, Dominic Franks, and Edith Cuarenta showed the city what Cougar pride looks like. From Microsoft Office and Adobe certifications to national education honors, these students are walking proof that hard work and skill-building pay off.
Their achievements not only raise the bar for what’s possible in high school—they’re shaping the future of Benbrook and beyond.
