The Western Hills Lady Cougars put together a season that will be talked about for a while.
They finished 11-1-2 in District 7-4A, earning second place and scoring 70 goals. It was a steady run from start to finish, with production on offense and consistency across the field.

Several players were recognized for their performance. Samantha Jupiter was named Offensive Player of the Year after tallying 42 goals and 6 assists. Marie Betetta earned Midfielder of the Year honors with 18 goals and 14 assists. Head coach Angelica Navarro was also recognized as Co-Coach of the Year.
District honors followed across the roster. First Team selections included Jupiter, Miranda Lopez, Elizabeth Nduwimana, Avery Burns, Chloe Parten, Betetta, and Michelle Vega.
Second Team honors went to Jaquelin Valandran, Jocelyn Nava, Kaylee Gomez, Denisse Ceron, and Daisy Daniels. Miah Ramirez and Carissa Quintanilla received Honorable Mention.
It was a complete season, from the opening match to the final whistle, with a group that showed up and competed every time out.
