Western Hills Golfers Stay Busy Ahead of District Tournament.

The Western Hills High School golf team spent the week sharpening its game on courses familiar to many golfers in the Benbrook area.

Cougar golfers competed Tuesday at Rockwood Golf Course in Fort Worth, then returned to the links Thursday for another round at the Benbrook Par 3 Golf Course. The back-to-back matches gave the team valuable time on the course as players continue preparing for postseason competition.

For many high school golfers, these late-season rounds are about more than just scores. They provide a chance to fine-tune swings, adjust strategy, and build confidence before district play begins.

Western Hills now turns its focus toward the District Golf Tournament scheduled for April 1 and April 2 at Pecan Valley Golf Course in Benbrook. The tournament will bring together teams from across the district as they compete for a chance to advance deeper into the postseason.

Community support has played an important role throughout the season, and Cougar golfers continue to represent their school with steady improvement and determination.
