At Western Hills High School, appreciation runs deep both in the classroom and on the field. This week, the Cougar Football Team took time to recognize a few educators who make a daily difference in students’ lives.
Among those honored were Nancy Wendell (Health), Anthony Chassen (Science), Vickie Young (Special Education), Sean Washington (ELA), and Terri Blackmon (Special Education). Each was celebrated for their commitment, compassion, and impact on the Cougar community.
These teachers not only educate but also model the values of teamwork, perseverance, and care that the football program strives to reflect.
