As fall settles in, the Western Hills Cougar Pride Alliance is asking the community to lend a hand by donating gently used cold-weather clothing.
With many students opting for sweatshirts over coats, the group is specifically seeking zip-up or pullover hoodies and fleece jackets with collars.
Donations of all sizes and styles are welcome. Even if an item doesn’t fit a student’s need, it will still be passed along to someone in the community who can use it—nothing goes to waste.
If you’re clearing out a closet or downsizing this season, consider giving those extra warm layers a second life. Every piece helps keep a student or neighbor warm as the temperatures drop.
