A strong night at the plate has put Benbrook’s Ethan Tucker in the spotlight, and now the community has a chance to back him.

Tucker turned in a big performance last week against Carter-Riverside, collecting two hits, including a home run, and driving in four runs. It was the kind of game that helps swing momentum and doesn’t go unnoticed.

That effort has earned him a nomination for Fort Worth Area Baseball Player of the Week.

Voting is now open, and supporters can cast their vote at the Star-Telegram’s poll. There is no limit on votes, and polls close Friday at 10 p.m.
