Benbrook will host its first-ever Wreaths Across America ceremony on Saturday, December 13, honoring veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice. Organizers are calling on residents, local groups, and businesses to take part through volunteering, sponsorship, or wreath donations.
The event, held in partnership with the Benbrook VFW, is part of the national initiative that places wreaths on veterans’ graves each December as a tribute of remembrance and gratitude. Volunteers are especially needed to help present ceremonial wreaths, with a particular request for current or former members of the Space Force and Merchant Marine.
Participation is open to individuals, families, civic groups, and organizations. Students can also earn official volunteer hours by joining the effort.
