“The Chosen” Casting Paid Stand-In Role for Texas Filming

Fans of The Chosen who have ever wondered what it is like behind the scenes now have a shot to step onto the set.

According to a casting notice shared by Brock-Allen Casting’s Instagram page, the hit television series is urgently seeking a paid male stand-in for upcoming filming dates in Midlothian, Texas.

The production is looking for a man around 5-foot-9 with light to olive skin tones for filming scheduled May 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, and 20. The listed pay rate is $200 for a 10-hour day.

Applicants must be Texas residents.

To apply, interested individuals are asked to email with their name, city of residence, height, weight, clothing sizes, and two recent photos, including one selfie and one full-body image. The casting notice also asks applicants to include a photo of a piece of paper showing today’s date in their submitted photos.

Filming will take place in Midlothian, giving North Texas residents a rare opportunity to land a paid role connected to one of television’s most widely watched faith-based series.
