BENBROOK, TX – As Texas continues its rapid expansion, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is making historic strides in infrastructure investment to keep pace with the state’s booming population.
At the Texas Transportation Forum in January, TxDOT leaders outlined major funding milestones, highlighted in the agency’s newly released Progress Report.
Transportation leaders from Texas and other high-growth states, including Nevada and Utah, also discussed the role of technology in reducing roadway fatalities and the ongoing need for public awareness campaigns.
With more projects in the pipeline than ever before, TxDOT continues to drive innovation and connectivity, ensuring Texas’ roads support its growing economy—the eighth largest in the world.
