Horned Frog fans, the countdown to basketball season officially begins this Friday, October 3, with TCU Men’s Basketball hosting its annual Defenders Fan Fest at Schollmaier Arena.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the Purple and White scrimmage tipping off at 6:00 p.m., giving fans their first look at the Defenders in action. The night wraps with an on-court autograph session at 7:00 p.m. featuring players and Coach Jamie Dixon.
Admission is free, and fans can grab open seating anywhere in the arena, including courtside. Highlights include a photo op with the iconic Iron Skillet and free black Funky Town T-shirts handed out for Saturday’s football game.
Students get even more perks: free Chicken Express dinners, limited-edition Funky Town hats, and entry into a raffle for a 65-inch TV.
The energy, giveaways, and first glimpse of this year’s squad make Fan Fest one of the most anticipated nights of the preseason.
