Tamale Fundraiser Supports Benbrook Library’s Summer Reading Program.

BENBROOK, TX — A familiar favorite is back in Benbrook, and this time it comes with a purpose beyond the plate.

The Benbrook Public Library has partnered with The Tamale Company for a frozen tamale fundraiser that gives residents a simple way to support the library’s upcoming summer reading program while stocking up on a ready-to-go meal.

Orders are open from April 20 through May 2 at mytamalefundraiser.com/benbrookpubliclibrary, with tamales priced at $20 per dozen. Each purchase sends $8 directly toward funding summer programs that serve local families and young readers.

Buyers can choose from four options: ancho pork, chicken verde, cheese, or black bean and corn. Pickup is scheduled at the library on May 11 and May 12.

It is the kind of fundraiser that meets people where they are. Good food, easy ordering, and a direct impact on something the community sees and benefits from each summer.
