Stone’s Throw Farm Co. is opening its kitchen for a hands-on canning class on Saturday, November 22, from 3 to 5 p.m., giving Benbrook residents a chance to learn a skill that blends tradition, creativity, and a little bit of kitchen science. The class costs 45 dollars per person and regularly fills up fast.
Participants will learn how to make both pickles and jam, working step by step with guidance from the farm’s canning expert. Along the way, guests can enjoy snacks, meet new people, and get comfortable with a process that many find easier than expected. Everyone leaves with their own jar of pickles and a jar of jam to take home.
Stone’s Throw Farm Co. also offers private canning sessions for small groups. To claim a spot or inquire about private classes, message the farm directly through its social channels or website at https://stonesthrowfarmco.com.
With limited seats and a history of quick sellouts, residents interested in preserving a little seasonal flavor are encouraged to reserve soon.
