Springtime is already on deck in Benbrook, and families still have time to get their kids in the game.
The Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball Association is continuing registration for the 2026 spring baseball and softball season, with Opening Day set for March 14.
This long-running community league offers programs from Blastball through 14U, giving kids of all ages a chance to learn the game, build confidence, and make friends that often last well beyond the season.
Registration runs through January 22, and families can sign up online through the league’s Crossbar platform. In-person registration is also available on select evenings at the concession stand for those who prefer to ask questions or pay by cash or check.
Along with players, the league is also looking for head and assistant coaches.
Coaching is a hands-on way to invest in the community, support local kids, and help shape a positive team environment. Interested coaches can register online at https://crossbar.org or directly through the coach interest form.
