Splash the Staff Raises $400 for Kids’ Camp.

If you saw drenched staff members at the Benbrook YMCA recently, no need to worry. It was all part of the plan.

This summer’s “Splash the Staff” event wasn’t just about cooling off. It was about creating real access for kids who might not otherwise get the chance to experience summer camp. With laughter in the air and buckets of water flying, staff took the splash so that more kids could take the leap into life-changing programs.

Thanks to a big-hearted group of campers and families, $400 was raised in just one week to support the YMCA’s Annual Campaign. That campaign makes it possible for one out of every four campers to attend, regardless of their financial situation.

The splash may be over, but the impact isn’t. If you missed the fun but still want to help, donations are still open. Every dollar helps build a more inclusive and joy-filled community for Benbrook families.
