Some Benbrook Neighborhoods Experiencing Trash Pickup Delays, City Says.

Some Benbrook residents may notice their trash carts sitting at the curb a little longer than usual this week.

According to the City of Benbrook, Republic Services notified the city that delays are impacting trash collection in several neighborhoods across the community.

The city shared updated maps highlighting the affected areas, which include portions of central Benbrook neighborhoods near Mercedes Street and Benbrook Boulevard, sections of west Benbrook near Rolling Hills and Jerry Dunn Parkway, and areas surrounding Team Ranch Road and Veterans Parkway.

Residents in the highlighted zones whose trash is missed during Wednesday’s collection schedule are expected to receive pickup on Thursday, May 14.

City officials apologized for the inconvenience and thanked residents for their patience as crews work to complete delayed routes.
