Drivers traveling along RM 2871 near the Ventana community experienced delays Tuesday morning after a crash occurred shortly after 9 a.m. near the railroad tracks just before Aledo Road.
Emergency responders and law enforcement arrived on scene to assist those involved and begin clearing debris scattered across the roadway. Traffic continued moving through the area but at a significantly reduced pace.
The cause of the accident has not yet been released, and authorities are actively investigating the circumstances of the collision.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution and consider alternate routes while crews continue cleanup efforts and the investigation remains underway.
