Spring Break is around the corner, and Benbrook Stables is offering families a chance to swap screen time for saddle time.
From March 16 through March 20, kids ages 5 and up can take part in Spring Break Horse Camp, held daily from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 10001 Benbrook Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76126.
The weeklong camp is priced at $395 and includes five days of activities and a camp T-shirt. Individual camp days are available for $95 each.
Campers will spend their mornings immersed in barn life. In addition to horseback riding, children will learn grooming and basic horse care, enjoy hayrides, participate in arts and crafts, play outdoor games, and help with horse baths, weather permitting.
The experience is designed for beginners and animal-loving kids alike, with trained wranglers guiding small groups in a safe, supportive environment.
Organizers note that spots are limited and tend to fill each year.
