Downtown Fort Worth will come alive on Tuesday, November 11, as the city celebrates the annual Veteran’s Day Parade, honoring those who have served our nation.
While the event promises plenty of patriotic spirit, drivers should expect several road closures throughout the morning and early afternoon.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, sections of North Main Street, Belknap, Taylor, and surrounding streets downtown will be temporarily closed for the parade route. Additional closures at the Henderson and White Settlement roundabouts will take place from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
To avoid delays, commuters are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time when heading into or around the downtown area. The closures will lift by early afternoon once the parade concludes.
It’s a small inconvenience for a big celebration that pays tribute to the men and women who’ve served our country. For more event details or traffic updates, visit fortworthtexas.gov.
