The Benbrook community is mourning the loss of Ezra William Paul Miller, who passed away on July 1, 2026, at the age of 8 after an 18-month battle with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), an aggressive form of brain cancer with no known cure.
Born on October 6, 2017, Ezra was remembered by his family as a courageous, joyful, and determined young boy whose strength inspired everyone around him. He is survived by a large family, including his parents, sibling, grandparents, great-grandparents, extended relatives, and many friends.
His family shared that Ezra knew he was deeply loved throughout his life and found comfort in knowing he is now “completely healed and whole.”
