BENBROOK, TX — David Scott Hendrix passed away peacefully at home just after midnight on January 15, following a two-year battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family.
David was known for his heart for service and quiet strength. Beyond his deep love for his family, one of his greatest passions was serving others through the Cresson Volunteer Fire Department, where he faithfully served for nine years. Friends and colleagues remember him as steady, selfless, and fully committed to helping those in need.
Those closest to David say he faced his illness with courage and faith, remaining focused on loving others well until the end.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in David’s honor to the Cresson Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 42, Cresson, TX 76035.
