Emergency responders across North Texas have been participating in extensive training exercises today, preparing for large-scale incidents ranging from mass shootings and fires to transportation crashes and public safety emergencies.
These drills are part of a regional effort to ensure that local agencies are fully prepared for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026, which will bring hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
