Drivers on I-20 eastbound saw delays Monday morning after a black four-door sedan hydroplaned off the roadway just past the Winscott entrance ramp.
The crash happened shortly before 9 a.m., landing the vehicle in a ditch beside the highway.
Benbrook Police arrived quickly, securing the scene and blocking the far right lane for safety. A tow truck was on site by 9:15 a.m. to remove the vehicle. No additional details on injuries or contributing factors have been released.
