Routine health screenings can be easy to put off. On Thursday, Benbrook residents can take care of one a little closer to home.
The Texas Health Mobile Health Unit will be at the Benbrook Public Library Thursday, Sept. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., offering screening mammograms, well-woman exams and take-home colon cancer test kits.
Patients should bring their insurance card and a driver’s license or other state-issued ID. Fully funded screenings are also available for women without insurance who qualify.
Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling 1-855-318-7696.
For residents who have been meaning to get a screening on the calendar, this brings the appointment right into Benbrook.
