Benbrook residents will have another opportunity to take care of important health screenings close to home when the Texas Health mobile unit returns to Benbrook Public Library.
The Wellness for Life Mobile Health unit will be at the library Thursday, Sept. 3, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., offering screening mammograms, well-woman exams, and take-home colon cancer test kits.
Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling 1-855-318-7696, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Patients should bring an insurance card and driver’s license or other state-issued ID. Fully funded screenings are also available for qualifying women without insurance.
The mobile unit will be at Benbrook Public Library, 1065 Mercedes St.
