Benbrook Middle-High School briefly placed the campus on hold Monday while emergency responders assisted a student experiencing a medical emergency.
According to a message Principal Dr. Jason Oliver sent to BMHS families, students and staff remained in their classrooms while first responders and school personnel handled the situation. Instruction continued during the hold.
Emergency vehicles responded to the campus, but the hold has since been lifted, and normal school operations have resumed.
BMHS thanked students and staff for following campus safety procedures and emphasized that student and staff safety remains its top priority.
Families with questions are encouraged to contact the Benbrook Middle-High School office.
