Tonight, the Lady Cougar softball team steps into the Bi-District round of the 2026 UIL playoffs, facing the Decatur Lady Eagles on the road. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. at Decatur High School, where a season’s worth of work comes down to a short series and a chance to keep playing.
The setting is familiar for this time of year. A tighter field. Louder dugouts. Every inning carries a little more weight.
For the Cougars, it is another opportunity to lean on what has carried them this far. Consistency, effort, and a community that has shown up all season.
Tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for students; UIL passes are accepted. The field’s address is 1800 Deer Park Rd in Decatur.
Playoff softball has a way of bringing a town together. Tonight is one of those nights. So, Cougar Pride, let’s show up. Be loud. Stay with them.
