Lady Bobcats Close Perfect District Season with Senior Night Rout.

It was a celebration from start to finish on Friday afternoon at Bobcat Stadium as the Benbrook Lady Bobcats wrapped up the regular season with a dominant 15-0 win over the Dunbar Lady Wildcats.

Before kickoff, the focus turned to Senior Night. Ten seniors were honored for their years of dedication to the program.

Family members, friends, teachers, and classmates filled the stands to celebrate their time as Lady Bobcats and the impact they have made on the field and in the school community.

Once the match began, Benbrook quickly showed why the team finished the season undefeated in district play. The Lady Bobcats scored 12 goals in the first half and added three more in the second to seal the mercy rule victory.

Sydney Chavez and Lily Chavez led the offensive surge with four goals each. Lexie Garcia added two goals, while Judy Jimenez, Jessica Anzaldua, Randee Slater, Grace Klaerner, and Arianna Labue each found the net as well.

Liv Zapata paced the team in assists with five. Lily Chavez and Judy Jimenez added two assists each. Sydney Chavez, Lexie Garcia, Jessica Anzaldua, Randee Slater, Vicky Arriaga, and Katelyn Chaparro each recorded an assist.

The victory caps a remarkable regular season for Benbrook, finishing 19-3-1 overall and a perfect 14-0 in district play to claim the 2026 District 8 4A championship.

The Lady Bobcats will play an exhibition match against Burleson on Monday at 2 p.m. at Bobcat Stadium as they prepare for the postseason.

Benbrook opens the playoffs Friday, March 20, at 4 p.m. against the Eagle Mountain Lady Knights at Aledo High School, located at 1000 Bailey Ranch Road in Aledo.
